Elhamdu-llah we are getting closer to the end

Dear brothers and sisters,
We sincerely thank you for your support. We have been able to make a
payment of $260,000 to the contractor. We still need to pay the company
$240,000 by the end of September. Please keep supporting the Gatineau
Masjid in this final phase.

Great News Elhamdu-lelah!

Dear brothers and sisters, Assalamu alaikum warahmatullah

Once more, the Gatineau mosque needs your help to pay the last part of its
debt. As you probably know, the deal reached last year with the
contractor states that the debt should be paid in full by June 15. Hence,
by this date, and after the February installment, the final portion of
496,300$ has to be paid in full. Alhamdulillah, we have been trying hard
to meet this challenge, and so far we have collected the sum of 180,000$.
Last week, we met with the contractor to explain to him the difficulty to
collect the whole amount by June 15. Alhamdulillah, it was agreed upon
that as long as we pay at least 300,000$ by the end of June, he wouldn’t
mind leaving the remaining sum until mid-September.

We call upon your generosity to complete your good deed toward this masjid
and help us reach this amount and beyond. May Allah reward you for every
good action taking place in this Masjid; for every Adhan, for every
Takbeer and Tasbeeh, for every Sujud and Ruku’, and for every Koran verse
being recited until the day of judgment.

Please, make a final effort! May Allah’s mercy shower your parents and
grant His protection for your children!

A very serious call . . .

Assalamu alaikum,
Only two months are left to make the final payment to the contractor.

So, please don’t miss the chance of helping pay the last instalment and
thus complete your good deed and show Allah how generous, how sincere you
are to Him by selling your wealth to Him for a noble cause: the house of
Allah.

Please stay assured that it has been Allah’s will to facilitate this
endeavor and Allah’s will that we can stand for the house of Allah because
we have the unshakable belief that He stands for us, and that however
generous we are, He will be all the More Generous to us.

The Gatineau masjid needs your wholehearted support so please donate
generously, even with installments, and kindly urge others you know to
donate also. Insha-Allah, with a collective effort we can achieve this
noble goal.

The beginning of the end of our debts “Insha-Allah”

Alhamdulillah, we have met the deadline once more. The community’s
support has been wonderful, may Allah reward you all. We have therefore
made great progress toward paying the construction debt of the masjid. The
remaining debt toward the contractor is 496,300$, and it has to be paid in
one shot before June 15th inshaAllah. It will be the last and final
payment.
There is another amount of 98,000$ that was borrowed from various Muslim
organisations as ‘Qard Hassan’, and which can wait until after ramadan
insha-Allah.

We are almost there!

Assalamu Alaikum,

Alhamdulillah, the debt payment for the mosque is going fine. May Allah
reward you for your efforts. Only one week is left to pay the installment
of 250,000$ and we are still short of about 15,000 dollars. Please do your
utmost effort to give the mosque a helping hand, may Allah be your help
wherever you are.

All the praise is due to the Almighty, we met the deadline again!

Assalamu alaikum brothers and sisters and Eid Mubarak,

Al-hamdulillah we have met the deadline once again, all the praise is due
to the Almighty, and may Allah reward everyone who answered the call and
came to the Masjid’s help.  One more good news: We are out of any judicial
threat since the subcontractors (2 out of 10) who were giving us hard time
have been paid in full.  The next installment is due on February 28, 2009
InshaAllah. The total remaining debt is 844,300$ and this is FINAL.

More information on the financial status! We need HELP!

Assalamu alaikum,
The deadline for the next payment is approaching, and so far only the
amount of 36,230$ is available. Therefore in the next month we have to
come up with the sum of more than 200,000 dollars. After Ramadan, the
donation flow has seriously decreased, and we are calling upon our
brothers and sisters to give us a helping hand to reach our goal. In the
meantime, a new bill concerning finish works that were not covered by the
previous bill (the 920,000 of August 15) has arrived and its amount is
425,000$ + tax. This included mandatory works like flooring of all the
masjid, joints, taping, painting, internal and external stairs, ramp for
disable people, doors hardware, fire alarm, parking lot paving and
landscaping (mandatory by the city).

Your support is much needed now to free this masjid from its debt. May
Allah make you free of all your debts.

First deadline was perfectly met, Elhamdullah!

Alhamdulillah, we have met the payment deadline of October 15. We were
able to make the full payment of the 250,000$ installement on the evening
of October 14th. Thanks are due to Allah for his help, and the community
has been very supportive and generous, especially during the month of
Ramadan. We now focus on the december 15 deadline by which we have to pay
the amount of 250,000$. We are hoping Muslims all around will come to our
help toward paying all the debt of the Gatineau mosque.

Eid Mubarak to all of you brothers and sisters

We would like to wish you all a happy Eid and we ask Allah (SWT) that he accepts from all of us the prayers and the fasting of Ramadan.

Elahmdullah we have collected a considerable amount of Donations during Ramadan as you can see from the counter on the side bar. We are close to the amount needed for October 15th.

We are getting closer to collect 50% of the amount due by October 15th. Please, continue on donating and spreading the word about the crisis that the project is going through so that everyone donates.
