Alhamdulillah, we have met the payment deadline of October 15. We were
able to make the full payment of the 250,000$ installement on the evening
of October 14th. Thanks are due to Allah for his help, and the community
has been very supportive and generous, especially during the month of
Ramadan. We now focus on the december 15 deadline by which we have to pay
the amount of 250,000$. We are hoping Muslims all around will come to our
help toward paying all the debt of the Gatineau mosque.

I noticed you haven’t updated the total debt after your last deadline (October 15th 2008) was met. Since you paid $250,000, shouldn’t the remaining total debt be $670,000?

We really apologize for the late reply. Regarding updating the counter, it took us this long because there were some bills that were not finalized it. El hamdulleh every thing is finalized now and is shown clearly on the side bar and detailed in the most recent post.
