Dear brothers and sisters, Assalamu alaikum warahmatullah
Once more, the Gatineau mosque needs your help to pay the last part of its
debt. As you probably know, the deal reached last year with the
contractor states that the debt should be paid in full by June 15. Hence,
by this date, and after the February installment, the final portion of
496,300$ has to be paid in full. Alhamdulillah, we have been trying hard
to meet this challenge, and so far we have collected the sum of 180,000$.
Last week, we met with the contractor to explain to him the difficulty to
collect the whole amount by June 15. Alhamdulillah, it was agreed upon
that as long as we pay at least 300,000$ by the end of June, he wouldn’t
mind leaving the remaining sum until mid-September.
We call upon your generosity to complete your good deed toward this masjid
and help us reach this amount and beyond. May Allah reward you for every
good action taking place in this Masjid; for every Adhan, for every
Takbeer and Tasbeeh, for every Sujud and Ruku’, and for every Koran verse
being recited until the day of judgment.
Please, make a final effort! May Allah’s mercy shower your parents and
grant His protection for your children!
